Being prepared is a lifestyle for the POTOW artists. Living on a small farm, growing as much as possible their own food, raising chickens, off grid energy, own water source etc. Inspired by their faith and their life, the POTOW artists-duo creates images that encourage viewers to think about the contrast in our changing world. Their art blends the old with the new, the timeless with the temporary, and the natural with the artificial.
To connect different time periods, POTOW artists use a variety of techniques and materials that evoke feelings of nostalgia and respect for the past. Their work carries deep meaning, reminding us of lost traditions and encouraging a desire for the simplicity and authenticity of earlier times.
Their art challenges us to reflect on the fast pace of modern life, urging us to appreciate the lasting importance of our cultural heritage. The artists’ works transport us to a different time, where the old ways are valued and passed down to future generations.
